The Ultimate Radiator Cap
Safer for you, safer for your engine No matter what you drive, it's nice to know how hot you are When you know the coolant temperature, you can avoid getting burned. for example, if ThermoCap's meter indicates 235°, then it's better to leave the radiator cap in place. This is a great way to conserve your skin. Run cool water over the radiator, and leave the engine running. If ThermoCap's meter indicates 155°, you could probably remove the cap to check the coolant level with reasonable safety. Safer for your engine Water is normally used to transfer heat from the engine to the radiator, where air, passing through the radiator, can take the heat away. The hottest parts of a running engine are the cylinder heads and upper cylinders (at around 500° f). Water has a high heat capacity, and is ideal when used as a coolant. However, if the water boils (converts from a liquid state to a gas state), the water's ability to cool the engine is greatly diminished. The goal of keeping the engine cool, involves preventing the water from boiling. We do this with extra pressure. This will work and fit on the Turbo and Non Turbo models. This new item is really a show stopper and attention getter.

The factory plastic front license plate mounting bracket, required in many states, is considered by many to be a major blemish. The Cruiser-Braket locates the plate under the front bumper for a much cleaner appearance. The bracket, constructed of welded steel and finished in a durable and rust-resistant hammer tone coating, is bolted to the underside of the steel portion of the front bumper and only requires drilling of two holes. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware as well as four black plastic plug buttons to fill the holes in the front bumper if the dealer has already installed the factory bracket. These plugs can be painted if desired.
